She creeps through the stacks, taking care to honor the silence of the library, until she finds her hand resting upon her favorite work. She catches the scent of fruity plums and earthy patchouli as she releases the book from the shelf. A loud crash jolts her from her reverie. The spirit she shares her mansion with found its own book to read.
